TAX FREE WEEKEND is fast approaching, which means it’s the perfect time for our Back to Fall Event. Check your mailboxes for our postcard:

Sachi and Justine Magazine will be hosting a Back to Fall Event with fun activities including a DIY (do it yourself) picture frame making workshop (all of the supplies are free), “Accessory School” with the latest trends and scarf tying, as well as mini make-overs from Pavo Salon. There will also be lots of FREE GIVE-A-WAYS. Be sure to stay for the Fashion Show at 3:30!

Ever thought about taking a stroll across America? Five guys with a camera and a van do that in this new video for Levi’s. The song is “Home” from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros.

Here are a couple of songs we like to listen to while we work. Hope you like them too!

Swatch Portraits are fun and easy to make. They will add color to any room, and give your living space a personal touch. These instructions are from www.thepurlbee.com.

Materials:
To make one portrait.
*A wooden embroidery hoop, in any size
*A square of fabric, at least 2″ wider than your hoop in all directions
*Fabric glue (any type will work)
*Scissors
(Materials can be found at any arts and crafts store)

1. Place fabric in the hoop, pull taught

2. Turn to wrong side, run a small line of glue around the inside hoop, just next to the fabric

3. Press fabric into glue, all the way around
4. Allow glue to dry

5. Trim fabric to the edge of hoop

We don’t condone anyone defacing public space with graffiti. That is perhaps, unless you art the artist BLU…
