The Beale Street Merchants Association hosts the 4th of July celebration on Sunday, July 4 in Handy Park.

Live music by Punching Nicholas, Big Jerry’s Blues Band and Patrick Dodd begins at 6:00 and lasts until the fireworks begin at 10:00.
Security will be provided for this family-friendly event.

Autozone Park, July 3, 2010

Memphis Redbirds at AutoZone Park – After the Redbirds take on Round Rock Express, stick around for a fireworks show.  The game begins at 6:05pm

Germantown Municiple Park, July 4, 2010

Celebrate the nation’s birthday with friends and family. Enjoy live music, free moon bounces, games and crafts. Concessions will be sold. Then be amazed by a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 9:10 p.m. The event is sponsored by 98.9 KIM FM.

Collierville H. W. Cox Park, July 3, 2010
The small town of Collierville,TN has their Independence Day celebration scheduled for July 3rd. The festivities will take place at H. W. Cox Park. The party starts at 6:00 p.m. with an hour of music from The Aims Gang. At 7:15 p.m. Almost Famous takes the stage for another hour of musical entertainment. Dani McCullough’s musical talents will wow the crowd for another hour starting at 8:30 p.m. The evening ends with a bang when the fireworks are set off at 9:30 p.m.

My first ‘Roo experience was a week packed full of excitement.  Although the sun was blistering hot, that didn’t stop the festival goers from having a blast.  I took some photos to remember this past week and to share with all of you!

Some of the girls at the festival had such great style!  Floral prints and stripes were all the rage at Bonnaroo.

Last Saturday Sachi joined with Justine Magazine for a fashion show during the book signing of Sarah Mlynowski’s new book Gimme a Call. Sarah was a lot of fun to listen to and all the Girl Scouts who modeled clothes from Sachi looked great.

Devi’s life isn’t turning out at all like she wanted. She wasted three years going out with Bryan – cute, adorable, break-your-heart Bryan. If freshman Devi takes her advice, she can hold on to her friends, get into a good no, incredible college, be an extracurricular superstar, and most importantly, spare herself the heartbreak of Bryan.

Fourteen-year-old Devi isn’t so sure, though. She likes Bryan. She’s happy. But who better to listen to than your future self. . . right?

Anna Claire Eaton came in this afternoon looking stylish and pulled together in a coral t-shirt dress she had belted and a camel colored leather jacket. I loved her take on the light colored leather trend and thought it a perfect outfit for shopping and running around town. Her gold dainty bird jewelry was perfect for the look–added a little organic interest to a structured jacket without being too much.
